It is my pleasure to continue to serve you as principal this year!   This is my 17th year in educational leadership and my 23rd in education.  My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Health Promotion from the University of New Orleans, a Master’s of Education from the University of New Orleans and over thirty hours from various universities. By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning. 

I am blessed to be the father of two gentlemen, a high school Senior and Freshman.  They are the loves of my life.  I have the same expectations for them as I do your children, who I love as if they are my own. I want to see them excel and become productive citizens, who are provided a foundation to become whatever they want and “own a business.”   

It is my privilege to lead John Q. Adams and the many talented staff members and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and positive culture at John Adams that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each individual student and teacher can experience growth to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community this year - as we work collaboratively for the Success of all students!

¡Es un placer continuar sirviéndoles como director este año! Este es mi año 17 en liderazgo educativo y mi 23 en educación. Mi formación académica incluye una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Desempeño Humano y Promoción de la Salud de la Universidad de Nueva Orleans, una Maestría en Educación de la Universidad de Nueva Orleans y más de treinta horas de varias universidades. Al buscar el aprendizaje permanente, tengo la intención de ser un ejemplo para los estudiantes y maestros de que nunca debemos dejar de aprender.

Tengo la suerte de ser padre de dos caballeros, un estudiante de último año y uno de primer año de secundaria. Ellos son los amores de mi vida. Tengo las mismas expectativas para ellos que tengo para sus hijos, a quienes amo como si fueran míos. Quiero verlos sobresalir y convertirse en ciudadanos productivos, a quienes se les proporciona una base para convertirse en lo que quieran y ser “dueños de un negocio”.

¡Es un privilegio para mí guiar a John Q. Adams y a los muchos miembros del personal y estudiantes talentosos aquí! Mi objetivo es continuar brindando un clima de apoyo y una cultura positiva en John Adams que sea conducente a la enseñanza y el aprendizaje. Al hacerlo, cada estudiante y maestro individual puede experimentar un crecimiento a su máximo potencial. ¡Espero interactuar con todas las partes interesadas en nuestra comunidad escolar este año, mientras trabajamos en colaboración para el éxito de todos los estudiantes!
