    Ochsner Free Virtual Therapy Visits

    The Louisiana Department of Education has partnered with Ochsner Health to launch a virtual therapy program to provide access to free mental health visits for Louisiana’s public school educators and support staff. The Department has committed $1 million to this project to ensure that we can take care of those that are taking care of our students. Educators and support staff will have access to four, completely free and 100 percent confidential, counseling sessions with licensed mental health professionals. Please feel free to review this flyer and FAQ for more information.

    Public school educators and support staff interested in participating should follow these steps: 

    • Enroll in Ochsner Anywhere Care easily with the online form at ldoe.ochsneranywherecare.com.
    • Schedule an appointment through the website or download the Ochsner Anywhere Care app from the Google or Apple app store to start from a cell phone.
    • Enter Service Key “LDOE” when prompted. Use the coupon code “TEACH” when prompted.
    • Review available providers and appointment times and choose the most convenient option. Appointments are available M-F through 8 p.m. with additional appointments available on Saturday.

     

    Free Employee Wellness App

    JP Schools now offers free access for all district staff to a wellness app offered by ReThink Education. This free access is available to all employees through the end of the summer. The app is called Whil. It provides school staff with resources and training in several areas of wellness. Contact Monique Soignet if you have questions or need more information.
