Superintendent Search
-
In the search for a new superintendent, Jefferson Parish Schools conducted a stakeholder survey from June 5-June 19, 2020 to gather feedback on what stakeholders wanted to see in their next district leader.
“We will use the results of the superintendent survey as we continue the selection process,” said School Board President Tiffany Kuhn. “Our goal is to have a selection finalized by mid-July to ensure our next superintendent is in place for the start of the new school year.”
Key characteristics from the survey include someone with experience that will do what’s best for students, provide support to teachers and employees, listen to stakeholders, support the district’s current plan, and prioritize equity and diversity.
