    Raise the Bar

Build a school that makes college and career success a reality for every student. We trust our leaders to make the best decisions for their schools, and we give you the flexibility to do just that.

    Tools and Support

The unique network model in Jefferson Parish matches your school with an experienced network executive director who will coach and support you throughout the year, as well as  a cohort of principals with whom you can explore solutions. In addition, each network has a dedicated instructional staff who can help mentor your teachers and design improved instructional tools. The Compass evaluation system will help you have conversations to develop your own teachers, as well as providing regular feedback for you that can enable you to improve.

    Flexibility

At JP schools, we believe that decisions affecting students are best made at the school level — not at the central office. Over the past several years, the district has increased the decision-making power of principals so that excellent school leaders like you have hiring flexibility to choose a strong team, the ability to choose your own curriculum in response to challenging standards, and resource flexibility to make key financial decisions for your school. With these tools, you have what you need to build a school where every student attains their potential, every day.
