Arrival Time:

Please plan to be seated at least (15-20) minutes prior to the start of the graduation ceremony.

  • When the procession begins, the doors to the hall will be closed, and will not reopen until after the Pledge & National Anthem.
  • Parents may miss the beginning of the ceremony if they are late and/or delayed by the metal detectors.
  • Please note that metal detectors may result in longer wait times at the entrance doors, potentially causing delays in accessing the hall.
  • For campuses with a ticket-based admission, only attendees with an authentic ticket for entry will be allowed entrance into the venue.

Bag and Screening Policies:

All attendees must be scanned upon entrance. Please follow the directions of the officers as you proceed through the walk-through metal detectors.

  • In an effort to screen all guests safely and quickly, not bringing a no bag/purse is strongly recommended. Only clear or small clutch purses/bags allowed (may not exceed 4.5”x 6.5” in size- similar to NFL policy).
  • All bags and purses will be searched when entering the auditorium.

Celebrate Responsibly:

After the ceremony, we encourage you to celebrate with your graduate. Please exchange gifts with graduates at family celebrations off-site; gift bags or gift boxes will not be allowed inside of the venue.

  • No outside food or beverages are allowed.
  • No gifts with food/candy are allowed.
  • Noise makers are not permitted (including artificial noisemakers and/or airhorns).
  • No balloons are allowed inside of the venue.
  • No glass of any kind is allowed inside of the venue.
  • No loitering in the parking areas is permitted.
  • No outside bands are allowed on the premises/parking areas.  This includes Mardi Gras Indians, dancers, Mardi Gras Organization dancers, etc.

Graduation is more than just a ceremony; it's a milestone, a culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. It's a day to celebrate the achievements, growth, and potential of our graduates. We look forward to celebrating this special day with you and your graduate!
