JP Schools Hosts Vaccination Event for Students, Family Members and Employees
In partnership with Children's Hospital's ThriveKids and InclusivCare, JP Schools will host two concurrent vaccination events for its employees, students and family members. Anyone aged 12 and over is eligible to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines will be administered on Friday, July 16 between 9 - 11 a.m. and Friday, August 6 between 9 - 11 a.m. at both the West Bank Administration Building at 501 Manhattan Blvd and the East Bank Administration Building at 822 S. Clearview Parkway. If you are interested, please complete the JP Schools Vaccination Commitment Survey by Tuesday, July 13 at 4:00 p.m.
It is critical that we utilize our complete dose allotment. Because our allocations are limited, the appointment slots will be first come, first serve.
- Only those who respond affirmatively to the survey by Tuesday, July 13 at 4:00 p.m. will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
- At this time, only Jefferson Parish Schools employees, students and family members are eligible to participate in these events.
- Please complete one commitment survey per person.
- Please note in the commitment survey which location you prefer.
- If we do not reach our allocated commitments by Tuesday, July 13 at 4 p.m, we'll send emails to additional employees so we can utilize all of our vaccine doses.
Once you have committed on the survey to receiving the vaccine on July 16 and August 6, you will receive an email indicating your window of time between 9 - 11 a.m. to arrive at the West Bank Administration Building or the East Bank Administration Building. To ensure an efficient process, you are committing to arrive during your assigned window of time.
Vaccinations remain an essential piece to keeping our schools and community safe. We believe strongly in the efficacy of the vaccine and encourage everyone who is eligible to receive it. For vaccine resources, visit jpschools.org/vaccine.
